Aydın’s Sultanhisar district experienced a tragic traffic accident in the morning hours, causing profound sorrow for both the family and the AK Party community. Murat Önder, who served as the Vice President of the Aydın Youth Branch of the AK Party, lost his life following a serious collision.

The incident occurred on the Aydın-Denizli highway, close to the Sultanhisar area. Reports indicate that the car driven by Murat Önder suddenly lost control for reasons yet to be determined. After losing command of the steering wheel, Önder’s vehicle swerved, rolled over, and fell into a drainage ditch alongside the road.

Immediately following the accident, locals notified the 112 Emergency Call Center about the situation. Emergency services, including healthcare teams, UMKE, gendarmerie, and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, quickly arrived on the scene and made extensive efforts to rescue Murat Önder from the wreckage. Thanks to the firefighters’ successful efforts, he was freed from the vehicle, handed over to medical teams, and transported to the hospital after initial treatment was administered at the accident site.

Regrettably, despite all the medical interventions at the hospital, the young politician could not be saved. News of Murat Önder’s death, who had been an active member of the AK Party Aydın Youth Branch and had led numerous social projects, brought great sorrow, particularly to his family and party members. Following the sad announcement, organization members and loved ones rushed to the hospital.

In a statement from the AK Party Aydın Provincial Directorate, it was expressed that the news of Murat Önder’s passing was received with deep sadness, stating, “We have lost a valued member of our youth organization. We pray for the deceased’s soul and wish patience to his family and all who loved him. ”

The untimely death of Murat Önder at such a young age resonated widely among political circles and on social media. Many party members indicated that Önder would be remembered for his dedication and sincerity in his work.

After a ceremony involving his family and party members, it is anticipated that Murat Önder will be laid to rest in his hometown.
